When making any kind of a major purchase, we usually assume that the lowest price is the best deal.

When comparing identical products that might well be the case, but we should also consider the reputation and service history of the retailer.

When shopping for a used car, however, the lowest price is many times  NOT equal to the best deal!

We’ve heard customers say many times, “I’ve seen the exact same car advertised for $1000 less than yours”.   The fact is, that you can never find two identical used cars, even if they are the same year, make and model with the same mileage and features.  Each used vehicle has different levels of wear and tear.  What’s more important is how well a used car is reconditioned and this can vary more than you know.  Although auto parts may pass minimum safety standards you may find yourself replacing them in a short time.  A used car for $1000 less isn’t much of a bargain when you end up replacing the brake pads, rotors and tires in the next year.

We are proud of the level of reconditioning we perform on our cars.  That’s why everyone gets a copy of our repair orders itemizing exactly what we did to your car. We also provide a full history on your vehicle so you know where it came from, how many people have owned it, and whether it has ever been in an accident or stolen.  Very few dealers provide the level of documentation we do, and fewer still are as extensive in their reconditioning as us.   That being said, we are rarely the lowest price in town, but we are the best value.  We strongly feel that when you buy from us you get a well prepared, thoroughly reconditioned used car at a fair price that we are proud to stand behind. When you consider all the factors involved in buying a used car, is that not the better deal in the long run?

Do You Value Personal Service?

By Mike · Comments (0)

You have a problem with a widget you bought from ABC Company. Perhaps there is a defect in manufacture. Perhaps the operating instructions are unclear. Perhaps service is required and you are trying schedule an appointment. Whatever your need, all you want to do is talk to a live person who can address your concerns.

 Do You Value Personal Service?

That friendly recorded voice has informed you of hours of operation, fax number, mailing address, made at least one sales pitch, and suggested you try the website for 24/7 convenient service. You’ve danced through the maze of automated menu choices, made all the right selections, and finally you are transferred to the appropriate department. Of course, ABC Company is currently experiencing a higher than normal volume of calls, so you are again placed on hold, you are advised that your call is important to them, and you should stay on the line to maintain priority sequence. Is there anyone out there who has not had the pleasure of this experience? Likely not. The Age of Personal Service is dead, and the auto and powersports industries are no exception.

We know of several local dealerships in the Pickering, Ajax, Oshawa areas, that employ so-called “Customer Care Centres” to administer their service departments. Not only are these people not employees of your dealership, they are not even located on the premises! How impersonal is that? That will never happen here. When you call Pickering Village Motors, a live person will always answer the phone, and a live person will always do their best to deal with whatever questions or concerns you might have whether about our used cars, motorcycles, scooters, or our automotive or motorcycle service.

Isn’t that a refreshing old fashioned approach in an increasingly frustrating modern world?   We like to think so.

Used Cars In Toronto-New Website

By Mike · Comments (0)

www.UsedCarsInToronto.net is a new website that’s just been launched this week.

The site belongs to Pickering Village Motors in Ajax Ontario, which is a used car dealership that specializes in Used Hyundai and Kia products.

We’re also know as the area Hyundai and Kia experts when it comes to fixing and servicing these vehicles.

As stated in Used Cars In Toronto, the dealership takes a different approach when it comes to customer satisfaction.  Things are done differently in a small town like Ajax. No pressure sales, a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, and some great deals on some great used cars.

The used Hyundai and Kia vehicles found at Pickering Village, are hand selected by the owner. Each vehicle must pass our high standards in order to be placed on our used vehicle dealership lot. We don’t believe that simply meeting the government regulations regarding safety requirements is enough for our customers. We want our customers to be happy with their new vehicle and with our dealership.

It’s pretty tough finding  just the right used car in Toronto.  The very nature of the business in Toronto doesn’t give the customer a chance to get to know the dealership in many cases, and we believe that people buy from people they know and trust.

I hope you’ll come and visit our new website; UsedCarsInToronto.net.  Have a look at our online inventory, and give us  a call if we can help in any way.

By the way we buy good used vehicles as well.
